I was asked to help design a poster for the 2025 conference. The project shows my process, beginning with sketching, then building atmosphere and texture in the scene, and finally thinking through the typographic choices.

Corktown Pizza Company

A freelance project for a Petoskey, Michigan restaurant, developed as the business opened in 2023 and needed branded menu materials. The work extends the Corktown identity into a cover and interior drink menu system.

Vector Interior Studies

A series of first-person interior scenes, documenting daily life while teaching remotely during the pandemic. The project began as Procreate sketches and moved into Illustrator, turning daily domestic repetition into structured vector compositions.

A 2019 faculty-show series exploring the uneasy space between the human body, nature, and technology. The pieces leave that relationship open, asking whether technology separates us from nature, extends us, or keeps us somewhere in between.

Recruitment Posters

A set of posters made to bring students into design spaces: Michigan Tech digital media courses and NMU's student graphic design club, which later became CMD+C. The work uses visual hooks, direct calls to action, and campus-specific landmarks.

Band poster system, 2021-2026

Outlaw'd Poster Series

Software: Photoshop, Illustrator

A long-running poster series for the band Outlaw'd, built around annual show schedules, band photography, weathered textures, western typography, and composited atmosphere. The work has evolved year to year while keeping the band's rough-edged country identity recognizable.

Shown at the Rozsa Center at Michigan Tech, Fragmentation uses recursive phone-screen portraits to explore self-representation, digital identity, and the blur between physical and digital experience.

A selection of outdoor images centered on atmosphere, color, framing, and the tension between natural systems and human-made structures. The work moves between shoreline, weather, aerial views, and abandoned places where the landscape begins to reclaim the built environment.
